Our Wedding: Ceremony
"There isn't time, so brief is life, for bickerings, apologies, heartburnings, callings to account. There is only time for loving, and but an instant, so to speak, for that." -Mark Twain
A few days ago I shared photos from our pre-ceremony. Here are the photos from our ceremony, which was full of love and meaning. We had a small wedding of 75 guests, and every single person there was someone we love dearly. Micah's dad, Steve, was our officiant, and our ceremony contained Shakespeare and words of wisdom from Charles Lindbergh's wife, Anne Morrow Lindbergh. It felt like us, which is all we wanted.
Micah with my cousin Janet, party extraordinaire. She did so much to help make our wedding beautiful, and I don't know what we would have done without her.
Such a precious moment.
My friend Kelli and her husband Josh introduced Micah and me. It was an honor to have her read Shakespeare's Sonnet 116, which was also read at Micah's parents' wedding and his sister Brianna's wedding.
The whole California family!
The reception will be next! We had so much fun, and I can't wait to share those photos with you!
